  •  Duties: Gave tours to visitors, tour groups, and school groups of a 10,000 square foot museum, which covered the Civil War in the Western Theater.  Maintained and supervised a Colonial village, which contained six original buildings built from 1780 to 1820.  Maintained the appearance and care of the historical artifacts valued at one million dollars, according to the American Association of Museum guidelines.  Researched all new artifacts brought into the museum, and wrote new descriptions for the new artifacts.  Devised a budget for the year, maintained financial records, made deposits at the end of the day, and ran day-to-day operations of the museum.  Supervised the Battle of Bardstown for two years.
